From the time my daughter and I arrived at the venue to meet my friend, the excitement started building higher. Finally, the doors opened as we walked the lobby filled with joy, took pictures, picked some goodies from The JoyFM (I have my car sticker!!!), purchased some food, and made our way to our seats.
The concert started promptly with Hollyn, whom I wasn't expecting, and she did a wonderful job. Britt Nicole's turn followed, and she is such a wonderful and engaging performer. Mr. Colton Dixon then took the stage, and let's just say I was blown away by his talent and performance. Lastly, Mr. GWAR and his electric band took the stage, and they were truly fantastic.
The performers, performances, and great time were enjoyed by all, including the folks in Section 213 who had to endure my screaming. I cannot imagine how lively GWAR was in the past given his energy on stage now.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the greeters, security, MCs, and other talented speakers who were wonderful and kind. This was my first concert in a long time, and I am grateful to have shared this spiritual experience with my daughter. I hope to never forget this great experience.
